To qualify for a mortgage in Australia, you generally need to be over 18 years old, a resident or citizen, have a good credit history, stable income, and a deposit saved up. The exact requirements can vary between lenders. Let us help with your unique circumstance.
The minimum deposit usually ranges from 5% to 20% of the property's value, depending on the lender's criteria and whether you're willing to pay for Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI), which can allow you to borrow with a smaller deposit. We however, offer a unique loan option that can help some clients get into a home with a smaller than usual deposit. Give us a call to find out how.
The small deposit option will allow you to borrow the shortfall amount between your current savings and the deposit amount needed to borrow for your new home.
After being accepted for a small deposit you will be presented with a selection of loans offers outlining the various loan amounts, loan terms and interest rates.
From this selection you are able to choose one or more of the loan offers to suit your individual requirements.
Once you’ve selected the loan options that work for you, we will then complete your home loan applications whilst you start packing and getting ready to move into your new home.
